Foreword: predator control is a complex issue on Monomoy- how are we the ones to decide what birds live or die on this island?
Although the end of the season blues were running at Monomoy last Friday, it turned out that there was one more surpise in store for the team: rescuing a 500 pound leatherback sea turtle.
Today’s post comes from a letter I’m writing to a friend. That’s all for tonight, just a few thoughts at large about having spent the last 2 months on the island. Let me know what you think about the post format- it’s nicer to write on paper.
